“The Road to Embodied AI” by Wayve discusses their groundbreaking approach to autonomous technology. Wayve’s end-to-end (e2e) Embodied AI is uniquely equipped to solve the long-tail problem of driving automation. Unlike traditional methods, e2e Embodied AI learns how to drive from extensive exposure to recordings of driving in various environments, from sensing to driving actions.
Google has introduced Google Threat Intelligence, a powerful offering that addresses two main challenges in threat intelligence solutions. First, it provides an unparalleled view of the global threat landscape by combining Mandiant’s frontline expertise, VirusTotal’s crowdsourced malware database, and Google’s massive user and device footprint. Second, it includes Gemini in Threat Intelligence, an AI-powered agent that enables conversational search across Google’s vast repository of threat intelligence.
Apple is developing AI chips specifically for data centers. This move aims to give Apple an edge in the ongoing AI arms race. Additionally, Morgan Stanley predicts that 2024 will be a “catalyst year” for Edge AI, which involves AI work done on smartphones and PCs rather than solely relying on data centers. Notably, Apple’s A17 Pro chip is expected to play a significant role in this development
Artificial intelligence (AI) engineers at top tech companies are feeling the heat. The pressure to roll out AI tools at breakneck speed has become the defining aspect of their jobs. Unfortunately, much of their work seems to be assigned to appease investors rather than solving real problems for end users. And guess what? They’re often chasing OpenAI like it’s the last piece of chocolate in the office pantry. Burnout is on the rise as these engineers grapple with projects that may ultimately get shelved.
