• HP has introduced HP Print AI, the industry’s first intelligent print experience designed to simplify and enhance printing for home, office, and large format printing. Key features include “Perfect Output,” which ensures consistent and accurate prints by eliminating common issues like unwanted web ads and improper formatting.

• Noam Shazeer, an AI expert, founded Character.AI, a startup that creates AI versions of celebrity voices. Google recently acquired the company for $2.7 billion, aiming to integrate its technology and talent into their AI initiatives. Character.AI allows users to interact with AI versions of famous personalities and has gained popularity, especially among younger users. The platform offers various roles and tones, and has evolved to include language tutors and coding instructors.

• Mira Murati, OpenAI’s Chief Technology Officer, has announced her departure from the company. Murati, who joined OpenAI in 2018, played a pivotal role in developing key technologies like DALL-E, Codex, and ChatGPT. Her resignation comes amid OpenAI’s plans to restructure into a for-profit benefit corporation, potentially valuing the company at $150 billion.
