  • Sora : OpenAI has introduced a groundbreaking text-to-video tool called Sora. This AI application can instantly create sophisticated, 60-second-long videos based on written prompts. Sora’s capabilities include complex camera motion, multiple characters with vibrant emotions, and highly detailed scenes.

  • Stop Counterfeiting : MIT engineers have developed a tiny, tamper-proof ID tag that uses terahertz waves to authenticate items. The tag, measuring about 4 square millimeters, adheres to an object’s surface using glue containing microscopic metal particles. When the tag is attached, these particles form a unique pattern, acting like a fingerprint. Terahertz waves are then reflected off the tag, and a machine-learning model achieves over 99% accuracy in verifying authenticity.

  • AI-driven Hiring : AI-driven hiring tools are used by companies for recruiting. These tools analyze body language, vocal cues, and CVs. While they aim to improve HR processes, concerns exist about bias and inaccuracies. Some experts worry that these tools may unfairly reject qualified candidates.
