Adobe has introduced new AI-powered features to its Acrobat AI Assistant, aimed at simplifying contract management. The update includes contract intelligence capabilities that help users understand complex terms, compare multiple contracts, and verify key details with AI-generated summaries. These features are designed to make working with contracts easier and more efficient.
Google has announced updates to its Gemini AI models in February 2025, introducing Gemini 2.0 Flash, 2.0 Pro Experimental, and 2.0 Flash-Lite. The 2.0 Flash model is now generally available, offering improved performance and multimodal capabilities. In Paraguay, an AI chatbot named Eva has been developed by El Surtidor, an independent multimedia news outlet, to highlight the stories of incarcerated women. Eva is based on in-depth interviews with a woman awaiting sentencing for drug trafficking and organized crime. Since its launch, Eva has logged over 15,500 interactions, allowing users to ask intimate questions and gain insights into the lives of imprisoned women who are often neglected by society.
ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, has introduced a new AI model called OmniHuman-1, which has gone viral for its deepfake capabilities. This model can create realistic videos of people speaking, singing, and moving from just a single photo and audio clip. The videos generated by OmniHuman-1 are highly realistic, showcasing detailed facial expressions and natural movements.
